Giapo
It has been said that Giapo provides the best Gelato and Sorbets in New Zealand.
Could this be true?
One commentator had this to say ….”This place is quite a goodie. It’s very near the Burger Fuel on Queen St. Giapo serves gelato in traditional and fruit flavours. I’ve only been there twice, but have been impressed. The triple chocolate (?) and tiramisu flavours are very good.”
Giapo has certainly changed my perspective on Sorbets and Gelatos, not that long ago I was not a fan of either but after being tempted into the Giapo store I tried the Dark Chocolate Sorbet which was so amazing I had to go back that same day for more.
Not having tried Gelato from many other stores I can not say if Giapo provides the best Gelato in New Zealand but certainly as far as I am concerned Giapo makes the best Gelato and sorbet that I have ever tried.
